What stays on your PC
The desktop beta works without an account or internet connection. It does not contain telemetry, advertising, analytics, a remote license check, or an automatic update ping.
Files the app saves
- Projects, G-code, setup sheets, and support bundles go only where you choose to save them.
- Preferences, recent-file paths, recovery data, and machine setup stay in your Windows user profile.
- Controller, probe, and job progress are held while a machine is connected.
Camera and synced folders
The workshop camera is optional and starts only after you give permission. Its viewer stays on your computer unless you set up another service, such as Tailscale. If you save a project in Google Drive, OneDrive, Dropbox, a NAS, or another synced folder, that separate service can read the file under its own terms.
Support bundles
The built-in support bundle leaves out project geometry, G-code, file paths, camera pictures, controller serial numbers, and raw machine logs. Read any file before you share it.
This notice is written for the engineering beta. A qualified reviewer still needs to approve it before a paid release.
